Dr. Raymond Crookston, Au.D., is a board-certified Doctor of Audiology specializing in hearing instrument technology. He is a second-generation audiologist and has worked with people with hearing loss from a young age. Dr. Crookston has immense experience with providing quality hearing aid fittings, using a sincere and thoughtful approach.
Dr. Crookston received his Bachelor’s degree at Utah State University and his Doctor of Audiology at Central Michigan University. He completed his residency at a private practice in Walnut Creek, Ca, and has been with East Bay Audiology since 2004. Dr. Crookston has a keen interest in new hearing technology, which he incorporates into his practice to ensure that his patients will be able to hear to their maximum potential, and consequently improving their quality life. “One of the most rewarding things I hear from my patients is when they tell me their daily life is more relaxed and they are less stressed when wearing hearing devices. It’s truly my pleasure to be able to do this on a daily basis.”
Dr. Crookston has served as a volunteer in third-world country audiology trips since he has been in practice. His most recent trips have been to Ghana, Africa, where he has helped numerous children with severe hearing loss, fitting them with hearing devices that change their lives.
